Keep Amy In Portland Fundraiser
It’s a big number, a scary number, and time is short. If I can’t raise close to 75K in the next 30 days I am going to lose my home. I’ll have to sell, and I cannot afford to stay in Portland if I’m a renter. I have no idea where to go. Most of all, Lucy, Myrtle and I want to stay!
The last few years have been hard on so many of us, I hate to ask for help. I should have asked for help a few years ago when I needed “only” $5,000 for a divorce attorney, but I was too ashamed to admit how challenging things were.
I foolishly represented myself in court believing “justice would prevail” and instead, it was a disaster. Now I owe my former husband money from a house he barely lived in for a year and didn’t pay a dime towards. Even though I have kept it on my own for the last almost six years!
My home will be up for a sheriff sale in 30 days if I can’t pay the judgment to give my former husband and his attorney more than $50,000 and pay my back due mortgage. Please help me get back on my feet. Will you please?

I’ve weighed leaving and starting over, and I could do that. But the other day, a friend pointed out that I need to find a way to get this off my back and experience Portland finally without a dark cloud over me and all this BS. He seems to think I can thrive once I am free of the nonsense and this terrible chapter is finally done. Another friend has offered to help with a partial loan, and another too is trying to help. That must mean I am a decent investment. Will you please invest in me? I know it’s a lot to ask. I feel like an ass asking for help.
I’m finally able to admit that this 3 year court battle, and all the bad actions, lies, creepy attacks and cyber theft, all of it really took a toll on me. Then the terrifying last few months facing contempt charges that asked for me to be jailed! It was unfathomable that the person I spent half my life with could treat me this way. That alone has been devastating.

If I can pay this judgment and stay in my home, I could finally be free of the dark cloud over me these last few years and really shine!
